Spring bucket list & decor ideas

Spring has sprung! Or mostly anyway, as where I am there aren’t leaves on the trees yet, but I can spot cherry blossom and daffodils from my window. I realise that a lot of people are homebound and the news can seem quite scary right now. However this spring can still be a great time for shaking things up in our routines, refreshing our interiors and heading outdoors for some fresh air. So here are some ideas to do just that!

Spring decor

I’ve listed some ideas of how to refresh your home from spring. Take these as inspiration for repurposing things you already own or for doing some guilt-free online window shopping! Some of the prints can be downloaded and printed at home too.

Spring decor & bucket list

1 – Wooden toy eggs
2 – 3D wall butterflies
3 – Paris print
4 – London wisteria print
5 – Mount Fuji watercolour print
6 – Bath shelf
7 – Blush long pillow
8 – Hmong pillow

(Some links in this blog post are affiliate links, which means that if you make a purchase, I may receive a small commission, at no cost to you. Thank you for supporting this blog!)

Spring decor

1 – Garden bird poster
2 – Speckled wooden eggs
3 – Whiteboard calendar
4 – Tulip print
5 – Landscape painting
6 – Bloom where you are planted print
7 – Vintage lantern
8 – 3D wall butterflies

These items are all from Etsy, land of everything handmade, vintage or unique. I have very recently created my own Etsy store, that you can find here. Please favourite it to be notified when I add new items!

Spring bucket list

I’m very much guilty of taking opportunities to introvert and spend as long as possible on my computer. However those aren’t the moments I want to remember in a year’s time! I also would like to make Baby J’s childhood a bit more exciting than just doing the same things over and over again indoors. Anyhoo, I’ve put together a bucket list of things I could* do this spring!

* I got the idea of a “could do” list from a Simple Things magazine I bought recently. I really appreciate the idea of the tasks being optional. That way it doesn’t feel like another endless to-do list.

To be fully transparent, I've been on the vegan train for the past 8 years, but I had animal products while on holiday recently. Still committed to the vegan lifestyle though! The objective is progress, not perfection. 😊 #NoVeganPoliceHere 😉

“I could never give up meat”… How many times “I could never give up meat”… How many times have we heard that? Or said it ourselves? 🤔

The foods we are used to can have a very strong emotional bond, even though they’re not always the best for us. Plant-based eating is better for our health and the planet (and of course the animals!), but I can understand having cravings for foods we have enjoyed for a lot of our lives - "even I" had some animal products while on holiday recently. 😬

In the blog post, for each dinner, I’ll offer two options. One is the 100% vegan option and one is the one to use if you’re taking baby steps towards eating less meat. Find them by following the link in my bio! 😘
