Most people start their vegan journey with food, but quickly we start questioning what our wardrobes and homes are full of… And sometimes it’s not a pretty picture. I never advocate for throwing everything out and going on a crazy shopping spree, but if you are in the market for new vegan furniture, here’s where you can get it!
I’ll be honest, I thought I was being clever while writing this list. I thought I’d check out the list of companies with a Vegan Society trademark, pluck out a few furniture ones and tadaa… Job done!
Well it turns out that none of the companies listed actually sell furniture… so back to good old Google. As much as I love Immaculate Vegan to find lots of vegan fashion brands, there isn’t a comparable platform for vegan furniture (should I create it??).
HOT OFF THE PRESS:
In any case, here are some cool companies I found who sell vegan furniture in the UK (and further afield too)!

Vegan Haven
In a world where it’s difficult to figure out what’s vegan and what’s not, it’s very reassuring that Vegan Haven has vegan in the name! They sell a variety of furniture pieces, mostly in a traditional or transitional design style. But they also have some modern pieces – I particularly like the side table below!
Caribbean Twist Double Slatted Bedstead
Mango Hill Cement 2 Drawers Bedside Table with Gold Detailing
Gresford Grey Blanket Box
The display unit and wardrobes below would be well suited to a more traditional home, whereas the media unit would fit in with a mid-century living room.
Nixon Display Cabinet
Mango Hill 1 Drawer Chestnut Media Unit With Gold Pull Out Bar
Gresford White 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe
For some reason, I’m a real sucker for both the “mudroom” look and all things bistro-inspired for the outdoors. With a double pushchair we unfortunately have no space left in our entrance area, but if we did, I’s be considering benches like the ones below.
Chedworth Welly Locker
Rive Droite Large Bistro Set
Clockhouse Hallway Bench
If we didn’t already have a wooden waterfall worktop in our kitchen (check out my Instagram for occasional photos of our kitchen), I would buy a round wooden table like this! But it would lead to a bit of a wood overdose (is there such a thing?). I love the white dining chair for a classic look, as well as the ladder shelf for displaying photos, plants and books.

Knots Studio
Praise the Lord for Etsy! More seriously, I mentioned my struggles to find vegan furniture in the UK earlier, but Etsy is always a good place to find gems. One of those I discovered today is Knots Studio. Check out their unique stools and benches:

Fy! brands Ciel and BB Home
If you like the masculine James Bond-esque look of leather chairs, but don’t want cows to pay the price for it, Fy! has you covered. Please note that not all of the items sold by the Ciel and BB Home brands are necessarily vegan, but the ones below are made with vegan leather:
Amalfi Dining Chair – Chestnut – Vegan Leather – Set of 2
Bobby Dining Chair – Black – Set Of 2
Corsano Chairs – Tan – Vegan Leather – Set of 2
Other places to find vegan furniture in the UK (and beyond)
As you can tell, there is still a way to go for vegan furniture to go mainstream, but I’ll keep updating this blog post with more shops along the way! In the meantime, here are a few other ideas of where you could find vegan furniture:
- Local vegan and sustainable markets: these events may feature vendors who specialise in cruelty-free and eco-friendly products, including furniture.
- Custom and handmade furniture: consider reaching out to local craftsmen or artisans who specialise in custom and handmade furniture. They may be willing to work with vegan materials or accommodate specific requests.
- Social media and forums: join vegan or sustainable living communities on social media platforms or forums. Members often share recommendations for vegan furniture and can provide insights based on their experiences.
- Second-hand furniture: this is a bit of a grey area for vegans (with furniture and clothes), but you could buy furniture second-hand. Even if it does contain animal products (e.g. leather), you’re not directly financing the exploitation of animals.
